I have had over 40 years experience of working in the voluntary sector with community activists, groups and networks, both as a professional worker and as a volunteer. I have proven competency in the management and development of community projects and networks together with support with quality standards and event facilitation.
My competencies include: project management and development, training, fund-finding, writing and presentation skills, event/conference organising, research, IT, business and strategic planning, networking, counselling, mentoring and supervision.
I was trained as a PQASSO Mentor and am registered as a PQASSO Quality Mark Peer Reviewer, I piloted and managed the development of the PACE quality system in consultation with local voluntary groups and I have also helped launch an Open College Network Course for training assessors of quality standards. I am a Professional and Technical Aid Service consultant with the Digbeth Trust.
My qualifications include:
